About Us
The Rise - Dental Co. is Australia's first dental assistant-led lifestyle, career, and media platform. Through our magazine publication, community, education, advocacy, and industry initiatives, we provide a foundation for current and next generation dental assistants to advance and diversify their careers.
What is Personal Information and why do we collect it?
Personal Information is information or an opinion that identifies an individual. Examples of Personal Information we collect include names, postal addresses, email addresses, telephone numbers, business names, job titles, billing and payment information (such as billing addresses, transaction details, invoices and payment status). Where payments are made by credit card or other electronic payment methods, payment information is processed securely by our third-party payment providers. We do not store your full credit card or debit card details on our systems, website usage data (such as IP address, browser type and cookies), social media usernames (and information that you have made publicly available through social media and other digital platforms), marketing preferences, information provided through enquiry forms, registration forms, Expressions of Interest (EOIs) and contact forms, as well as user account details.

When we collect Personal Information, we will, where appropriate and where possible, explain to you why we are collecting the information and how we plan to use it.
Our services are intended for individuals aged 16 years and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16 without appropriate consent.

We may send marketing communications where you have consented or where permitted by law. You may opt out or unsubscribe from our mailing/marketing lists at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us in writing.

Where you make a purchase, pay an invoice or register for a paid service, your payment may be processed by trusted third-party payment processors. We receive information necessary to confirm and administer your payment, such as your name, payment status, transaction reference and the products or services purchased, but we do not receive or store your complete payment card details. We currently use trusted third-party payment providers, including Stripe and Xero, to securely process payments and manage invoicing. Billing and transaction records may be retained for as long as required to meet our legal, accounting, taxation and business record-keeping obligations.
We also use trusted third-party software providers, including cloud-based services and AI-assisted technologies, to assist in delivering our services. These providers may process personal information on our behalf in accordance with our instructions and this Privacy Policy.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

Where reasonable and practicable to do so, we will collect your Personal Information only from you. However, in some circumstances we may be provided with information by third parties. In such a case we will take reasonable steps to ensure that you are made aware of the information provided to us by the third party.

We cannot guarantee absolute security; however, we are committed to responding promptly to any security incidents and complying with our legal obligations.

If you find that the information we have is not up to date or is inaccurate, please advise us as soon as practicable so we can update our records.

The Rise - Dental Co. will not charge any fee for your access request, nor will we charge any administrative fee for providing a copy of your Personal Information.
